How often does Sync with Sales by Target Robot update my data?
Sync with Sales will update your data as often as every 5-10 minutes. Expect your initial sync to take some time, but we only sync information that has been updated or brand new contacts.
We also only sync Mailchimp marketing activity to your CRM every 24 hours.

Can I sync new contacts just one way? Or can I choose to just sync matching contact information?
Absolutely! When you are setting up your connection, we give you the ability to select whether or not you want to create new contacts in Mailchimp and/or your CRM.
We want to give you the power to choose whether you want to:
- Grow your audience/list in each system.
- Sync existing contacts only.
- Or just add new contacts in one system, while continuing to sync matching contacts.
What will my Mailchimp account look like once I sync?
Sync with Sales allows Marketing to view the complete sales pipeline inside of Mailchimp by syncing contacts, companies and deals activity across Pipedrive and Mailchimp.

Why do I have incomplete contacts? Or why am I not seeing all my contacts synced over?
There could be a few different reasons for this:
- The most common issue is that Mailchimp requires email to sync a contact over. If your contacts/leads in your CRM do not include an email, these will not be able to be synced over to Mailchimp until an email is added.
- Pipedrive also requires last name as a default, but you can change this required field in Pipedrive. That may be why you aren’t seeing Mailchimp contacts being synced over to your CRM.
- There also may have been issues with your initial sync. If you think this is the case, please let us know either by the Contact us form or by our help chatbot. We will review the issues and get back to you as quickly as possible.

How do you handle GDPR?
When you have GDPR turned on in Mailchimp, we will make sure to add new contacts from Pipedrive as “Unsubscribed.”
